Fr. Panayiotis Steele is the ephemerios (second priest) of Saint Nektarios in Charlotte, NC. He holds a Certificate of Byzantine Music from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (2018) as well as a Master of Divinity from the same school (2021).

Born in Alexandria, VA, he studied Byzantine music under Stelios Kontakiotis, then the Protopsaltis of Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Washington, DC, from the ages of 13 to 19. In 2016, Fr. Panayiotis resumed his studies under Georgios Theodoridis, current Protopsaltis of Saint Sophia Cathedral and Archon Mousikodidaskalos of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. At Holy Cross, he studied under Rev. Fr. Romanos Karanos.
